If you’ve been following our work around carbon intensity scores, or maybe you watched our webinar, you know that we’re still waiting for definitive rules around the IRS’s 45Z tax credit for ethanol plants. However, they have since updated the 40B rules, which govern the aviation fuel tax credit. If 40B is an indicator for the ruling on 45Z, then we’ll be honest – we’re a bit disappointed.
